Winter Days

Here are a few random pictures from our St. Louis winter.

Maren's birthday quilt
Mom helped me finish it. I've had these quilt square since we lived in Woodland. I like to start a quilt, but I have some trouble finishing it. This one is very colorful. Very pretty. It's perfect for Maren at college this fall.

Just Maren running around the yard with her quilt...

It was cold and muddy and she isn't wearing shoes.
Yep, she's a little wild sometimes.

18 years- This makes me feel old.

She and her buddies went to the St.Louis house for her birthday party. They had a fun time having the old house to themselves. Lots of food, movies, and girlish fun... In the morning they went to the Botanical Gardens.
Mom and Dad and their new car

This year's pinewood derby car
Alec wasn't first and wasn't last. That's as much I ever hope for.
Once again, thanks to Uncle Brian for the help.

Annalisa creates pictures for us every day. I love them and save nearly every one.
A fun sledding outing
That hill by my parents' house is perfect.

Trying to catch a snowball in his mouth. Hmmm. Not his best idea ever.
Usually he is trying to catch orange segments in his mouth. He is gradually getting better. He was terrible to begin with- maybe catching one out of 10. He always saying "Mom watch!"
Oh look. You dropped another orange on the floor. Amazing.

I love Adam.

Maren with attitude
She gets this from her dad.

Sweet Maren
She gets this from me. ;)

These homemade pop tarts turned out super yummy. I was impressed.

Trevor is extremely lovable. Even his sisters agree.
