I love this event. Last year I missed it because I couldn't find parking, (SO frustrating! Especially when the the whole family was waiting for us at the park) and I wasn't about to let that happen again. We got there at noon, four hours before the race began! We brought chairs, a picnic, some balls, and just enjoyed being outside at the park. It was a lovely day- perfect weather again. We enjoyed looking around at the little booths and getting the freebies. (dog food, razors, shaving gel, candy- a random assortment of stuff) The kids loved the hang gliders. The Kesner cousins were there for a while, which always makes everything twice as fun!

Admiring the dog food stash
Lots of dog food! They gave us each a bag of it.
Alec is sure that Calli is more "focused" since he fed her the Purina Pro Plan Focus variety.
(Focused on getting our food, as usual.)
Mariah and Trevor were "remembering" when they shared these animal print camp chairs as two-year-olds in Yosemite. Remember the photos of those filthy little blondies?
Mariah brought homemade cookies to share. Crunchy, but yummy!
Tawny, barely beginning to show her pregnancy
Hurray for baby boys!
Alec was extremely proud of this leaf he found and was even showing it to random strangers.
There was a little Asian man showing off his amazing top skills. He could spin a bat on his hand, a pen on top of that, and a top on top of the pen. I should've taken a picture of that! We bought a few tops from him for the kids to play with.
Watching the Hot Air balloons inflate
Check out the crowds of people. A popular event in St. Louis!
Beautiful Sights
