Christmas in St. Louis

My little piano students (seven of them, two were on vacation) had a nice Christmas recital, They all did a great job. I am very proud.

I had to put this one in because of the creepy guy in the back.
Wait, that's my brother...

Adam played Away in the Manger while the audience played the chimes. It was fun!
My Primary singers did this for the ward Christmas party.

Trace and his Christmas mustache
What a crazy tradition this is. We never know what to expect when he arrives at the airport.

Christmas Eve dinner was yummy- French dip/ pot roast.

Annual caroling of Tawny's neighbors

Angelina was the only one to like that thing.

The Nativity production

Siblings
Tara arrived the next day, but we forgot to take another picture.
We missed Mom and Dad. (and Santa) Next Christmas we will have them back. Yay!
Two Christmases is too many without Nonny and Grandad.

Aubree very sweetly wrapped up lots of her toys for her beloved Uncle Trace. Tigger was his favorite.

Some Christmas presents

We had a little party for Aubree the day after Christmas. She is 5.
Tara's family showed up just in time.
Tyler and April skyped with the whole group for a couple of hours and it was great to share the holiday with them in this way. Of course it would be better to have them here.

The little girls love Geoff.

 Enjoying the Christmas presents

Doing puzzles with little kids- always a great time.
Right, Trace?

This game started when Adam and Maren were little. It's called, "I Have Two Kids."
Then I always started with "One's a girl, (tickle Maren) and one's a boy. (tickle Adam)
Then the game continues while Maren (the game lives on!) picks out similarities (everyone get tickled) and differences (just that kid get tickled).
They love it.

One of Geoff's stand-bys- laying on the ceiling
They love the terror of it.

Beautiful Angelina
She wore this headband I made her for three days straight. I can't keep anything in Annalisa's hair for more than 10 minutes. Not fair.

The Really Little Kids' Table

Tawny made us a delicious turkey noodle soup. It was so good!

  1. Enjoyed seeing everyone in Christmas and New Years pictures. We miss you all. Glad that Tara and family got home safely. Can't wait to see you all again. The grand children are growing up fast.
