Mongolian school children give us a show!

These three chldren performed for us. So cute!!

We were chosen to judge the artwork of the 1st-5th graders and choose 8 winners, 4 prizes for the younger artists and four prizes for the older artists.
The theme was "MY DREAMS" and we loved the pictures and the dreams that they conveyed.
They were great little artists. They have big dreams.

They gave us front row seats. I felt so honored to be there.

One of the winners points out her picture.

Each winner of the art contest and each performer was given a stack of school supplies and 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place had cash prizes in addition to school supplies. It was thrilling for the children. These kids are all from the ger disticts. It's one of the poorest schools. There are 1200 students- so many that there are two shifts, morning and afternoon, to accommodate them all. Tawny's Girl Scout and Activity Day girls gathered and donated all the school supplies. Great work, girls!
