The Read, Right, and Run Race was today. Throughout the school year our kids (along with 5,000 other St. Louis kids) have been checking off 26 books, 26 good deeds, and 26 miles. It is such a wonderful program. Today was the final event, the 1.2 mile race, the mile that completes the marathon. We had a perfect day for it! I wasn't fully appreciating that fact until I found out that last year it was rained out, and the year before it was very soggy. These four had a great time running it together. They are such good buddies.
The Green Pines runners met every Friday before school for their mile runs.

We cheered them on as they rounded the corner for the finish line.
