While the adults enjoyed a yummy Mother's Day dinner, the cousins played in the sunshine. Rocks were more interesting the food. Eventually they straggled inside to eat. I love spring in St. Louis. The weather has been so gorgeous.
Anna fell into a door at church and gave herself a huge goose egg on her forehead. It was so scary-looking we decided to take her in to see the doctor to make sure everything was okay. (My kids often hurt themselves on special days for some reason.) Fortunately she was fine, and to her great joy, the doctor gave her this purple horse. She's been carrying it around quite a bit. The horse was worth getting the bump in her opinion. :)
